treecie (tree-see) is a childhood nickname given to me by my loved ones.
It symbolises youth, whimsy, and joy.

I’d just recently lost my great-grandmother when the name came to me, a yearning for a happier time when days seemed to stretch on forever, and I’d tip-toe around my garden in search of fairies amongst the flowers. Or when I’d play with my little trinkets and toys, imagining the magical world they lived in. 

treecie is that world — a place full of friendship, warmth, comfort, and peace.
Amongst the tall trees and the colourful flowers live the teeniest, tiniest animals with lavender wings, making each day as joyful as the last, slowly and intentionally. It’s a place we can all visit when the real world feels a little too loud. The forest will always welcome you.

Hii, I’m Tree — the face behind treecie.shop!

Since 2017, I’ve been exploring what it means to be a self-taught illustrator and writer professionally, developing my whimsical art style and sketching cute characters in between freelance interactive fiction projects. 

I went full-time as an illustrator in April 2025, after a long period of burnout. I’d been buying small biz essentials along the way, and finally felt brave enough to give it a try!
Over the coming months I worked on many products to bring to the shop, focusing on stationery and trinkets inspired by my childhood obsessions and original characters themed around the forest, fairies, and all things cute. I hope to someday release storybooks and figurines following their lives in the forest. I hope to bring comfort to people of all ages, done with a sense of whimsy and light-hearted fun.

My first ever market was on 01/08/2026 and it was a success! Since then I’ve been website building, and now I’m finally ready to share my shop with the world :) Check here for dates of my upcoming events.
